Keri K. Sweet joins the TriGeo Energy team as an In-House Landman with over a decade of industry experience primarily in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado. Keri is responsible for the identification of mineral assets, acquisition or divestiture of mineral rights, negotiating business agreements, determining ownership in minerals through the research of public and private records; reviewing title, curing title defects and otherwise reducing title risk with ownerships and managing rights and/or obligations derived from ownership of interest in minerals and unitizing or pooling of interests.
Prior to joining TriGeo, she was a Sr. Minerals Asset Manager and Vice President for the Northern Trust Company in Addison, Texas. Keri also has experience as an Independent Right of Way agent in Texas. She holds a BBA from the University of North Texas and a MA from Texas Tech University. Keri holds a certificate as a Certified Professional Landman. She is actively involved in the American Association of Professional Landmen where she serves as a Certification Committee Member. She is also involved with the Young Professionals in Energy, and serves at 2nd Vice-President on the Board of the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Keri has two girls; Keeli, 10, and Kanie, 4. She is an avid runner and enjoys hunting, cooking, and watching Texas Tech Football. She is actively involved with her daughter's sports teams and her community.
